This is beautiful. Besides being fun&awesome in itself, i think it's a great example of "web storytelling", based on conveying ideas through technology. Or through design, if you will. Meaning that the story and technology are inseparable. This would be awfully close to McLuhan's famous idea, if I were talking about the medium and the message. But I am not. I am talking about turning an idea into something tangible [think any great design, e.g. furniture or fashion]. Here, there's also a song to go with each page. Song & text & font & color & navigation are all aligned to tell a story. By way of comparison, see this as an example of "traditional" storytelling & "the medium is the message" & "let's overuse Flash" [i've already written about the latter here and here]. It is worth noting that Anomaly has recently done something similar for Converse, but this one maybe has a slightly better vibe. (I didn't like Converse linear navigation, it somehow didn't totally work for their story. Non-linear and/or community-based navigation, like Digg's, might have been better ... but i heart Anomaly so will keep my comment lite)
