This morning when I typed in "Facebook" in my browser, i got these 2 sites first. Um. (They are by the same company, and the second followed the first when I tried to exit). Now, I may be completely uninformed and oblivious to this kind of spam (advertising?) but my first thought was "whoa, interstitials!" Definition of interstitial for those who are blessed not to know anything about them (by CNET Networks): "The Prestitial appears to all users accessing the site from the front door" (ha, didn't know that the web has "doors"). So this thingy above kinda falls under the category. Weirdness settled in, however, because after all this is Facebook we are talking about. In my mind, this kinds of advertising was reserved for the free-falling magazine industry. Apparently not. But hey, as long as the unmistakable FB targeting works ... :)
