I know it's not nice to make fun of people, but sometimes there should be exceptions to this rule. Especially when you get to have the close encounter with "The King of New Media". I find this guy hillarious and almost endearing ("Google me, beyatch"). While others are just gurus, divas, and specialists, this man is no less than a King. And Twitter is his kingdom. The proof? He's a hard-working finalist for a Shorty award in advertising (you know, that's when you manage to mobilize enough friends and relatives to vote for you on Twitter), and sent out a real-world press release about it. It would be a real bummer if he doesn't win. This is either a developing case of megalomania or a person who believes that there is no such thing as enough publicity. He's not alone , tho. Oh, and yes, he offers his definition of the "new media" on his site: "the short answer is "it's not old media"". King's wisdom is profound.
