Marketing is not about messages but about building systems that change people's behavior.
I am a digital strategist. Not sure if that says anything, but let's keep it for now. I also have a Ph.D. in Sociology. I wrote a thesis on digital branding. So this means that I know - or, at least, should know - a lot about digital media and brands. I enjoy taking a contrarian position when writing here. Mostly because I work in marketing, and things there shouldn't be taken too seriously anyway. What I am really interested in is people's behavior, and how technology modifies it, helps people do things better, and how it solves problems. Brands sometimes do that. More often they don't. Which makes it all the more fun to write about.
I like to run and bike and swim. I also like to read and think. Most of all, I like being a pundit.
